Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a coating material from wetting and spreading to outside of a desired range and to prevent variation in film thickness of an organic layer from being generated, when the organic layer is formed with the coating material.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting device, a first electrode 120 is formed on a substrate 110. An organic layer 130 is formed on the first electrode 120, and at least a part of the layer is formed with a coating material. A second electrode 140 is formed on the organic layer 130. A projected member 180 is the same layer as the organic layer and located at an end of the organic layer 130 or on the outer side of the organic layer 130 than the end, and is formed by the above-mentioned coating material.
