Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure which restrains an effect of moisture entering from the outside in a light emitting device using a light emitting element, and which has sufficient reliability.SOLUTION: A light emitting device has a division wall, a first opening where a light emitting element is provided and a second opening are provided in the division wall, and the second opening surrounds an outer periphery of a pixel part. At the second opening, the division wall penetrates in a thickness direction, and a cathode of the light emitting element is provided in the second opening. In addition, on a bottom of the second opening, a conductive film which is in contact with the cathode is provided. According to the structure, a path through which moisture entering from the outside reaches the light emitting element of the pixel part is cut off, so that the effect of moisture can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
