Abstract:

To provide a microlens-attached light emitting element array chip, where a uniform light emitting plane can be obtained, a light volume can be restrained from varying, an element resistance can be restrained in variation, and a microlens can be stopped from being deformed in shape.

A diffusion stop film 3 with a diffusion window 4, a light emitting part 5 facing the diffusion window 4, a p electrode 6 joined to the light emitting part 5, and a microlens 8 are formed o an n-type board 2 for the formation of a microlens-attached light emitting element array chip 1, where a ring-shaped electrode 6a of a p electrode 6 is joined to the circumferential region of the surface of the light emitting part 5 facing the diffusion window 4, and the microlens 8 is formed on the surface of the light emitting part 5 and the ring-shaped electrode 6a.
