Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life light-emitting element, especially a light-emitting element which exhibits a high light emission efficiency in a high brightness region.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element comprises a pair of electrodes, and a light-emitting layer between the paired electrodes. The light-emitting layer includes a first organic compound, a second organic compound, and a phosphorescent compound. The first organic compound is a compound expressed by the general formula (G0). The first organic compound has a molecular weight of 500-2000. The second organic compound is an electron-transporting compound. In the general formula (G0), Arand Arindependently represent a fluorenyl group, a spirofluorenyl group, or a biphenyl group; and Arrepresents a substituent group including a carbazole skeleton.
