Abstract:
To provide a low-cost light emitting element and its manufacturing method excellent in the light emission efficiency and the safety and serviceable as a sheet-form light source of a full-color display, backlight, illuminations, etc., and a light source array etc., of a printer etc.
The light emitting element is structured so that a transparent electrode, light emitting layer and a back electrode are provided on a base board, wherein the light emitting layer contains metal oxide nano-particles having photoluminescence with a mean particle size of 1-50 nm.
