Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element with an improved ESD resistance.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes: a light-emission part 120 including a first conductivity type first semiconductor layer 106, an active layer 105, and a second conductivity type second semiconductor layer 104 in this order; a supporting substrate 301 provided at the first semiconductor layer side of the light-emission part; a reflection layer part 211 provided between the supporting substrate and the light-emission part; and a transparent conductive film or a dielectric film 210 provided between the reflection layer part and the light-emission part. The light-emitting element further includes: a bonding pad part 502 provided on a light extraction surface provided at the second semiconductor layer side of the light-emission part; a fine line electrode part 501 electrically connected to the bonding pad part and extending in a first direction; and an ohmic contact part 107' provided at the reflection layer side of the light-emission part. A sum of a length of a first contact part of the ohmic contact part arranged at the minimum interval from the fine line electrode, and a length of a second contact part extending in a direction perpendicular to the first contact part, is 1,300 μm or more.
