Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness and size of a head by using as a light source nitrogen gallium phosphate light emitting diode (GaP;N/GaP) or electric field light emitting element (ZnS;Mn). CONSTITUTION:Nitrogen-doped gallium phosphate light emitting diode (GaP:N/ GaP) of yellow LEd light emitting element or a yellow electric field light emit ting element (ZnS;Mn) of electroluminescence light emission is used as a light emitting source 1 of a digital control light emitting head 12 having an LED light emission source 1, a light shutter array 3 of liquid crystal, and a thallium (T1) cellfoc photoconductive lens 8 for coupling one by one erecting real image. An LED light emission source and a light shutter array of liquid crystal capable of driving an electronic scan is guided to a photosensitive drum side for guiding the light of the source are provided to form a light emitting head 26 which has high reliability, small thickness and size without problem of maintenance.
