To provide a light-emitting unit which can be constructed very easily, and can transmit power supply and data without having a restriction such as installation location or the like even in the case an illumination system is constructed by numerous light-emitting units.
A light-emitting unit 1 comprises a light-emitting means having a plurality of light-emitting diodes, a power supply cord 35 for supplying a commercial power supply and a power terminal capable of connecting a power transmission cord 36 for transmitting power to other light-emitting units, a receiving cord 37 for receiving DMX signal from a light control table 38 and a signal terminal capable of connecting a transmission cord 39 for transmitting the received DMX signal to other light-emitting units, an AC/DC converter for converting the supplied commercial power supply into an operating power supply of the light-emitting means, and a light-emitting control means for controlling switching on of electricity to a plurality of light-emitting diodes based on the DMX signal received through the receiving cord.
