Abstract:
To provide a light source device that uses one light source unit and can generate a color image without dividing a fluorescent area of a phosphor into a fluorescent area generating fluorescent light of a yellow component and a fluorescent area generating fluorescent light of a red component.SOLUTION: A light source device of the present invention irradiates an image forming element 13 with at least light of a red component and a green component while temporally dividing the light and forms a color image on a screen S with the image forming element 13, and comprises: a light source unit 1 that generates light of a blue component; a phosphor 5 including a fluorescent film 5a that generates fluorescent light including light of a green component and light of a red component and a fluorescent film 5a' that generates fluorescent light of a green component; and a color component changing unit 10 that changes between the light generated by the light source unit 1, the red component of the fluorescent light generated by the fluorescent film 5a, the fluorescent light generated by the fluorescent film 5a, and the fluorescent light of the green component generated by the fluorescent film 5a', and transmits the changed light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
