Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a structure that light of high illuminance uniformity can be obtained while preventing light emitted from a light transmission window from being influenced by a short arc flash lamp that is disposed in the center of a reflection mirror, in a light source device which comprises within a housing the flash lamp including within a luminous tube a pair of main electrodes and a pair of starting aid electrodes that are disposed between the pair of main electrodes, and the reflection mirror which reflects light from the flash lamp downwards as parallel light, and in which the light transmission window is provided at a lower side of the housing.SOLUTION: The light transmission window is provided in a part of a light shielding plate that is provided at a lower side of the housing, and the light transmission window is formed at a position that is not right under the flash lamp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
