To provide a light guide body capable of emitting light from an LED as a linear light having desirable illuminance in a wide range in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, a linear light source using the light guide body, and an image reading device using the linear light source.
The light guide body 1 is equipped with a light incident part which extends in a rod-like form as a whole, and installed at the end part of the longitudinal direction, a plurality of light reflecting parts 14, 15 which extend in the longitudinal direction, and reflect light incident from the light incident part, and a light emitting part 13 to emit light coming from the plurality of light reflecting parts 14, 15 as the linear light extending in the longitudinal direction. The plurality of light reflecting parts 14, 15 are installed separated from each other in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
