Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate that uses, as a raw material, polystyrene advantage of dimension stability of moldability because of low water absorption, is used as a surface light source of an edge light type liquid crystal display device, and solves the problem that white turbidity occurs due to sudden change of humidity and temperature.SOLUTION: A light guide plate comprises a styrene resin composition that contains any two or more kinds of 0.1-0.5 pt.mass of polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight 200-1000, 0.1-0.5 pt.mass of styrene block copolymer rubber, 1.0-5.0 pts.mass of terpene phenol resin having hydroxyl value of 150 or more, based on 100 pts.mass of styrene resin.
