Abstract:
To provide a light quantity adjustment device that is small-sized and can change an area of a light passage port in multiple stages.SOLUTION: A light quantity adjustment device comprises: a base member 1 that has a light passage opening 1b; a plurality of diaphragm blades 9 that is annularly arranged around the light passage opening 1b to be overlapped on front and back sides and advances and retracts in the light passage opening 1b to form a diaphragm aperture; a drive ring 8 that rotates around the light passage opening 1b to transfer driving force to the diaphragm blades 9; a drive lever 5 that has an engagement part 5a engaged with the drive ring 8 and a first magnet 6; and a driving source that has a first coil 7 opposite to the first magnet 6 and generates driving force to rotate the drive ring 8. The light quantity adjustment device performs a predetermined amount of energization to the first coil 7 to move the first magnet 6 to a desired position, and thereby changes an aperture area of the diaphragm aperture to a desired one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
