Title:
LIGHT IRRADIATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04213404
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate focusing accompanied by the regulation of the spot size and position of incident laser light by adopting a specified structure. CONSTITUTION:Laser light is introduced into the lens-barrel 11 of a microscope from a laser oscillator 1 through an optical fiber 2 and optical lenses 5, 6 on an optical stand 4 linked with the lens-barrel 11. When the positions of a fiber holder 3 and the lenses 5, 6 are previously regulated so as to form a spot of a prescribed size at the center of the field of view by laser light at an internal position of the lens-barrel 11 at which an image of a sample 9 is clearly seen through an eyepiece 12, even if the thickness or position of the sample 9 is varied, the sample 9 is automatically irradiated with laser light condensed under constant conditions only by moving the lens-barrel 11 and bringing an image of the sample 9 seen through the eyepiece 12 to a focus.
