Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation apparatus, in which flat light source having a large area may be realized at a low cost.SOLUTION: A light irradiation apparatus comprises 4 irradiation units 2 and a positioning member 3. An LED substrate 6 comprises an LED criterion end surface and a plurality of LEDs 62 aligned based on distance from the LED criterion end surface with the LED criterion end surface as a criterion. A lens array 7 comprises a lens criterion end surface and a plurality of lenses 71 aligned based on distance from the lens criterion end surface with the lens criterion end surface as a criterion. The 4 irradiation units and 4 arrangement reference planes are arranged so as to be four-fold rotational symmetry. The LED criterion end surface and the lens criterion end surface in one irradiation unit are pressed onto one arrangement reference plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
