Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving circuit having a wide dynamic range by providing a current distribution control circuit for controlling a current flowing in a feedback resistor connected to an inversion amplifier constituting a preampifier.
SOLUTION: A current signal outputted from a photoelectric conversion element 100 is inputted to the preamplifier 200. The current distribution control circuit 240 changes the current distribution rate of a current 12 flowing into the inversion amplifier 210 to a current 13 flowing into a feedback resistor 230. When the input current i1 of the amplifier 210 is small, the current i3 scarcely flows. Thereby the conversion gain of the preamplifier 200 becomes a large value depending on the resistance value of a feedback resistor 220 and the current i2. When the input current i1 of the amplifier 210 is increased, the current i3 is started to flow and the conversion gain of the preamplifier 200 becomes a small value determined by the currents i2, i3 of the resistors 220, 230.
