Abstract:

To provide a light reflection film which reduces brightness unevenness, when the light reflection film is used for the direct type backlight unit of a liquid crystal display, and has high productivity.

The light reflection film comprises a transparent base material and a projection provided on the transparent base material, and has a metallic thin film layer by vapor deposition on a surface thereof. The base angle of the cross-section of the projection is 20-35°, and the height of the projection is 1-1,000 μm.
