Abstract:
To provide a light reflection sensor and a coupling type light reflection sensor which are easy in storage, carrying, inventory control, assembly as a sensor or the like.
In the light reflection sensor wherein an optical fiber 11 is fixed in a through-hole of a cylindrical ferrule 12, a reflection means for shifting a reflection spectrum to incident light corresponding to an external condition is formed on a spot including the end face of the optical fiber 11 in one end face of the ferrule 12, and the other end face of the ferrule 11 is polished so that optical connection to an optical fiber ferrule becomes possible.
