PURPOSE: To provide a light retroreflection function of a transparent layer by constituting a light reflection surface of a light diffusive reflection surface and light irregular reflection surface and laminating the transparent layer onto the light diffusive reflection surface as necessary.
CONSTITUTION: A light reflector 1 is formed in such a manner that the parts embedded with many high refractive index small glass balls 2 having ≤500μ diameter and ≥2.0 refractive index at 40W80% of the diameter in a fixing binder resin layer 5 held via an adhesive agent layer 7 on a base 4 and the parts laminated with the transparent resin layer 3 constitute, for example, characters, figures, etc. Said reflector has the construction in which the reflection layer 6 is directly provided to the embedded hemispherical surface in the rear of the small glass balls 2 and the rear surface of the transparent resin layer 3. The provision of the transparent layer to be laminated in the state of covering the exposed hemispherical surfaces of the small glass balls in the concentrical hemispherical shell shape of ellipse is most preferable in that the light retroreflection function of high luminance can be provided to the reflector.
