Title:
LIGHT-SCANNING PROBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003307487
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a light-scanning probe for stably obtaining an image to be observed without any variation in a light path at object and reference sides even if a posture changes while the insertion section of the light-scanning probe is being inserted into a body cavity.

A low interference light source 11 for generating low coherent light, a collimator lens 15 for turning the light into parallel beams, a beam splitter 16 for branching the beam into an object side light path 31 and a reference side light path 32, a two-dimensional scan mirror 22 arranged at the object side light path 31 at the side of the transmission light, an objective lens 23, a piezo drive mirror 19 in the reference side optical path 32 at the reflection light side of the beam splitter 16, and the like are arranged inside a hard tip housing section 4 at the tip of the flexible insertion section 4 that is inserted into the body cavity in the light-scanning probe 2. Even if the insertion section 4 causes a posture change such as bending, both the light path lengths of the object side light path 31 and the reference side light path 32 do not change, thus stably obtaining an image to be observed.
