To provide a light screening container having a high light screening property and an excellent appearance, the trunk part and the bottom part of the container body of which is covered with a light screening member, wherein the container body and the light screening member can be easily separated without using a special equipment and labor so that recovery and reuse of the container body can be done smoothly.

The light screening container is composed of the transparent container body having a mouth part, the trunk part and the bottom part and a light shading shrink label which is coated by heat shrinkage on the outer surface of the trunk part of the container body and a bottom member of a plate or a cup shape having a light screening property and covering the outer surface of the bottom part of the container body.
