Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shield device having a simple structure formed of inexpensive members, and having no gap defined between a light shield membrane and a body, through which sunlight runs.
SOLUTION: A light shield device can be opened and closed by a certain wind-up mechanism, and incorporates a light shield membrane 12 having a ridge 17 formed from molten resin along the side end part 16 of the device, a guide rail 20 which can be accommodated in the side end part 16 including the ridge 17 through a slit 24a formed along the longitudinal direction, an leading member 13 attached to the lower end of the light shield membrane and adapted to be guided by the guide rail 20 during opening and closing of the light shield membrane 12.
