To provide a light-shielding tubular tape for pull-up type curtains capable of effectively preventing leakage of light into a room.

The light-shielding tubular tape is sewn to a curtain 5 when a pull-up type curtain is constituted. The light-shielding tubular tape includes: an attachment piece 6 that is sewn to the curtain 5 so as to extend in the horizontal direction; and a cover piece 10 that is consecutively provided from a horizontal consecutive part 9 in an upper side of a seam line 7 of the attachment piece 6. The cover piece 10 is configured as a tubular body 10a extending in the horizontal direction and the seam line 7 is covered by the suspended cover piece 10, with a rod-like body 13 inserted in the tubular body 10a. A string pass-through member 21 through which an operation string 20 is passed and that operates to pull up the curtain 5 is configured to be attachable to the attachment piece 6 or the cover piece 10. A light-shielding overhanging piece 16 that may come into contact with the curtain 5 is protrudingly provided on the consecutive part 9 in such a manner as overhanging thereover, and the string pass-through member 21 into which the operation string 20 is passed is provided on the surface part of the light-shielding overhanging piece 16.
