Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device 10 which emits light efficiently.SOLUTION: The light source device 10 includes: a light emitting element 12 generating excitation light with a wavelength shorter than that of blue light; and a rod 14 in which a light conversion member 13 for converting the excitation light entering from an incident part 14in into long wavelength light with a longer wavelength is encapsulated, and which emits white light from an emission part 14out. The input part 14in is covered with a dichroic coat 17 which transmits the excitation light and reflects the long wavelength light.
