To provide a light source device, in which a simple configuration is provided so that outgoing light from a light source is efficiently made incident on an optical member between the light source and the optical member, for performing light coupling, and thus light use efficiency of the light source is enhanced, and unnecessary power consumption can be suppressed, and to provide an electronic device provided with the light source device.
The light source device is formed from a light source module and light guide member that propagates light from the light source module and is provided with a means for extraction to the outside. The light source device is constituted by being provided with an intermediate member that passes outgoing light between a light emitting unit that generates the outgoing light in the light source module and an end part of the light guide member that faces the light emitting unit, and that is in contact with each of the light emitting unit and the end part.
