Abstract:

To provide a light source device which is made compact and can reduce light loss.

The light source device includes: a light source 10 which emits light; a first reflector 12 which surrounds part of the light source 10 and reflects the light emitted from the light source to emit in the direction of an optical axis 1A; and a second reflector 13 which surrounds part of the light source 10 different from the part surrounded by the first reflector 12 and reflects the light emitted from the light source 10 to emit toward the first reflector 12. The position of a convergence spot of the light emitted from the light source 10 and reflected by the second reflector 13 is displaced from the position of an emission spot S1 of the light source 10 at least in the direction of a plane perpendicular to the direction of the optical axis 1A.
