PURPOSE: To form an effective and sufficient air flow for cooling and make a device smaller by providing an exhaust fan between a light source in a case and an exhaust port.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust fan 7 is stored in a case 6 and arranged between a lamp 1 and an exhaust port 5 to intake outside air from a suction port 4, cool a light source power supply 2 and exhaust air after cooling the lamp 1. Light is entered from the lamp 1 to the incident end of an optical fiber inserted into an optical fiber insert 3 and emitted from the other end or the side face. When the fan is activated, air in a device, especially near the lamp 1, is exhausted to the outside. With such exhaustion, atmospheric air in the device 2 is moved to the exhaust port 5 side and outside air entered from the suction port 4 into the device to cool the device 2 and then the lamp 1.
