Abstract:
To provide a light source, a light source device, and a manufacturing method of the light source with excellent light emission characteristics during partial irradiation.SOLUTION: A light source includes a plurality of light emitting units 51 arranged in one or two dimensions, and a light shielding member 60, and each of the light emitting units includes a light emitting element 20 having an emission surface, a wavelength conversion member 30 arranged on the emission surface, and a translucent member 40 arranged on the upper surface of the wavelength conversion member, and in a plan view, the wavelength conversion member is larger than the emission surface of the light emitting element, and the light shielding member covers the side surface of the light emitting element of each light emitting unit and the side surface of the wavelength conversion member and is continuously arranged between the plurality of light emitting units, and the translucent member includes a first region located above the light emitting element and a second region located outside the first region and having thickness smaller than the first region, and at least a part of the side surface of the translucent member of each of the light emitting units is exposed from the light shielding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
