This light source device 1 comprises an electrodeless discharge lamp 2, a condenser lens 3, a case portion 5 and a collimator lens 4. The electrodeless discharge lamp 2 performs discharge emission by high frequency. The condenser lens 3 collects the light radiated from the electrodeless discharge lamp 2. The case portion 5 is composed of a conductive member, has one opening portion 5a near a light collecting position of the condenser lens 3, includes the electrodeless discharge lamp 2 and the condenser lens 3, and blocks off the electromagnetic wave discharged from the electrodeless discharge lamp 2. The collimator lens 4 is disposed at a downstream side in the light radiating direction, of the opening portion 5a, and makes the light radiated from the opening portion 5a be roughly parallel light.
