Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size light source device with high brightness capable of largely improving the output of blue light.SOLUTION: The light source device includes: a solid light source; a dichroic mirror that reflects a blue excitation ray output from the solid light source; a phase difference plate on which the excitation ray reflected by the dichroic mirror incident; a fluorescent plate having a fluorescent area which emits fluorescent light being irradiated by the excitation ray reflected by the dichroic mirror and transmitting through the phase difference plate and a reflection area for reflecting the excitation ray, which are formed thereon; and plural condenser lenses which are disposed between the phase difference plate and the fluorescent plate for condensing the excitation ray and the fluorescent light. In the plural condenser lenses, at least the condenser lens closest to the fluorescent plate is a lens formed of a low thermal expansion glass material linear expansion coefficient of which is 32.5×10or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
