To provide a light source device able to switch the optical path of blue light in time division without forming a phosphor plate in the shape of a wheel and to provide a projector device equipped with the same.
A wheel 35 is disposed in the optical paths of a blue light source 31 and red light source 33. The wheel 35 has a bottom face 351 and a diffusion face 352. The bottom face 351 is composed of a dichroic mirror, and has an R segment, a G segment, and a B segment. The R segment transmits red right R from the red light source 33 and diffuses it with the diffusion face 352. The B segment transmits blue light B from the blue light source 31 and diffuses it with the diffusion face 352. The G segment reflects blue light B from the blue light source 31 and emits it in the direction of a phosphor plate.
