Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of obtaining fluorescence having sufficient intensity.SOLUTION: A light source device 1 includes an LED light source 7 (excitation light source) emitting excitation light having a first wavelength band, a phosphor layer 5 (fluorescence generation part) excited by the excitation light and generating the fluorescence having a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band, a first wavelength separation part 4 provided in an optical path between the excitation light source and the fluorescence generation part, transmitting the component on a short wavelength side of the second wavelength band, reflecting the long wavelength component of the second wavelength band, and transmitting the excitation light emitted from the excitation light source, and a reflection part 8 reflecting the short wavelength component transmitted through the first wavelength separation part 4.
