Abstract:
To provide a light source device, heightening the utilization of fluorescence in a configuration in which a plurality of optical fibers are united into one.
This light source device includes: a pumping source for emitting excitation light; a light guide member for guiding the excitation light; and a plurality of wavelength converting members for receiving the excitation light guided by the light guide member and emitting the wavelength converted light having a wavelength different from that of the excitation light. The light source device has a concave mirror having at least one focal point, and the plurality of wavelength converting members are disposed in the vicinity of the focal point of the concave mirror or in its vicinity.
