Abstract:
To provide a light source device in which a light source and an optical lens are integrated on the base, the device being designed to improve productivity in order to improve the use efficiency of light beams output from the light source.
In a light source device 4 in which a light source 2 and an optical lens 3 are integrated on a base 1, the outer shape of a coated part 3a of the optical lens 3 is rectangular, and one side of the rectangle is used as a mounting face with respect to the base 1, and a lens portion 3b is a plano-concave lens. If the refraction index is n and the lens thickness is d, 2.1>n>1.8 and 2.8>n/d>2.4 are satisfied.
