Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device configured such that fins of a heat sink extend in the longitudinal direction of an element substrate and capable of equalizing the light output of each light emitting element.SOLUTION: A light source device comprises: an element substrate including a main surface that has a longitudinal direction and a short side direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, and a back surface on the opposite side to the main surface, and having a plurality of light emitting elements mounted to line up at least in the longitudinal direction on the main surface; a heat sink including a base body that contacts with the back surface of the element substrate directly or via a specific member, and a plurality of fins that are mounted to the base body, extend in the longitudinal direction of the element substrate and line up in the short side direction of the element substrate; a fan arranged in one place on the opposite side to the element substrate with respect to the heat sink; and a heat transport member provided in contact with the heat sink and extending in the longitudinal direction of the element substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
