Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that hardly causes a lighting failure even though a holder having excellent heat resistance is used.SOLUTION: A light source device 100 comprises a light emitting module 130, a cover 140, and a holder 110 made of resin. The light emitting module 130 comprises a semiconductor light emitting element 132, and a mounting board 131 including a first principal surface 131a on which the semiconductor light emitting element 132 is mounted. The cover 140 is arranged on the side of the first principal surface 131a of the mounting board 131, and covers the light emitting module 130. The holder 110 is arranged on the side of a second principal surface 131b of the mounting board 131, and holds the light emitting module 130. When the light emitting module 130 and the holder 110 are viewed from the side of the first principal surface 131a, a portion of the holder 110 located inside the cover 140 is covered by the light emitting module 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
