Abstract:
To provide a light source device having a simple structure and precisely detecting abnormality of a fluorescent part.SOLUTION: A light source device 1 includes: a plurality of excitation light sources 20 emitting first light; an optical member 30 condensing the first light; a fluorescent part 70 emitting the first light and second light containing wavelength conversion light obtained by converting the wavelength of at least part of the first light; and a sensor 80 for detecting abnormality of the fluorescent part 70. Also, the sensor 80 is disposed in a virtual circle V1 externally coming in contact with a first excitation light source 20a of the plurality of excitation light sources 20 and a second excitation light source 20b different from the first excitation light source 20a and having a line segment connecting the first excitation light source 20a and the second excitation light source 20b as a diameter, when seen along optical axes of the plurality of excitation light sources 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
