Abstract:
To provide a light source device capable of detecting a small damage of an optical conversion member with accuracy.SOLUTION: A light source device 1 comprises: an excitation light source 20 that emits primary light; an optical conversion member 41 that emits secondary light including the primary light and wavelength conversion light obtained by converting a wavelength of at least a part of the primary light; a sensor part 50 that detects the primary light and the wavelength conversion light, respectively; and a controller 60 that acquires a first signal that indicates the primary light detected by the sensor part 50 and a second signal that indicates the wavelength conversion light detected by the sensor part 50. The controller 60 decides an operation safety parameter on the basis of a ratio of an output value of the first signal and an output value of the second signal, and then, controls the excitation light source 20 on the basis of the operation safety parameter to a predetermined threshold or on the basis of a change amount in the operation safety parameter from a normal time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
