PURPOSE: To easily obtain sufficiently intensive light as a light source head and to extend the life of the head, by providing a light output part consisting of a plurality of holes to the predetermined region of an individual electrode except the intersection of a common electrode and the individual electrode.
CONSTITUTION: AC voltage is applied between a rear electrode as a common electrode and a front electrode as a selected individual electrode. As a result, light is emitted from the light emitting part being the intersection between the rear electrode and the front electrode 16 and the light advancing through a light emitting layer 14 in parallel to a substrate 11 reaches the hole 17a of a light output part 17. The light is irregularily reflected to advance in the direction vertical to the surface of the substrate 11, that is, an opening direction. By this method, a sufficient light emitting area is obtained and highly intensive light is obtained.
