To provide a light source case, a light source unit, and a luminaire that can restrain a foreign body from entering a space surrounded by a fitting member and a translucent cover.SOLUTION: A light source case 20 comprises a fitting member 22, a translucent cover 21, and a protective member 3. A light source module 4 is fitted to a lower surface 2201 of the fitting member 22. The translucent cover 21 comprises a bottom part 210 opposed to the lower surface 2201, and a peripheral wall part 211 protruding toward the fitting member 22 from a peripheral edge of the bottom part 210, and is fitted to the fitting member 22 so as to cover the lower surface 2201. The translucent cover 21 comprises a cover end part 2111. The cover end part 2111 is a surface connecting an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall part 211, and opposed to the fitting member 22. The protective member 3 is sandwiched between the cover end part 2111 and the fitting member 22. The protective member 3 comprises a seal 32 having flexibility, and of which at least a portion is located between the cover end part 2111 and the fitting member 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
