Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which gam can be treated with a simple structure and satisfactorily in workability.
SOLUTION: A guide plate 8, by which a stripping claw 7 for preventing paper from being wrapped around is so supported as to be energized toward a heat roller 1 from below, is rotatably supported by the main body 5 of the device. It is composed so that, to treat a jam, the stripping claw 7 can be separated from the heat roller 1. A guide groove 81, for moving down the front end of the stripping claw 7 at the start of the separation of the stripping claw 7 from the heat roller 1, is made in the guide plate 8, and a guide shaft 13 provided on the main body 2 of the device is idly fitted in the guide groove 81.
