To provide a light source module with coupling efficiency from a light source to a light guide plate enhanced and capable of improving light utilization efficiency, as well as an electronic equipment equipped with the same.
The light source module is provided with a light guide plate 13, an LED 23 arranged below the light guide plate 13, and an optical coupling member 30 coupling the light from the LED 23 to be guided inside the light guide plate 13. The optical coupling member 30 is provided with a concave part 34 formed avoiding an optical path of the light from the LED 23. The concave part 34 is provided with a reflective sheet 35 for reflecting to the light guide plate 13 light which returns to the optical coupling member 30 without being optically coupled with the light guide plate 13.
