To provide a light source device enabling proper temperature control of an arc tube, having a simplified construction, while suppressing the occurrence of noise.
The light source device 352 includes: the arc tube 11, having a first sealed part 17 on one side of a light emitting part; a sub reflecting mirror 13 having a first extended part 23 covering the first sealed part 17; a main reflecting mirror 12, electrodes provided across an insulator 13 for generating ion wind with voltage applied thereto; and feeding members fitted to at least one of the main reflecting mirror and the sub reflecting mirror to contact the electrodes. The electrodes are a first electrode 18, and a second electrode provided between the first sealed part and the first extended part. The feeding members are a first feeding member 24 contacting the first electrode, and a second feeding member 25 contacting the second electrode. The first electrode arranged apart from the second electrode to the side of the light-emitting part uses the ion wind for air to flow between the sub reflecting surface and the light-emitting part.
