Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a light transmission fiber enabling a high numerical aperture and a large aperture, having excellent light transmission, durability, productivity and safety, comprising a specific activation energy ray cuing type resin composition as a sheath component.
CONSTITUTION: This light transmission fiber comprises an activation energy ray cuing type resin composition as a sheath component which is composed of a polymer of (A) a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate of formula I (Rf is a 1-20C perfluoroalkyl group, etc.; R1 is H, CH3, Cl, F or X-Rf; X is a bifunctional linking group) having ≥30wt.% fluorine atom content or a copolymer of the fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate, (B) an α, β-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid ester monomer and/or (C) a vinyl group-containing monomer and the fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate of formula I and/or (D) a fluorine- containing (meth)acrylate of formula II ((x) is 1-2; (y) is 4-12; R7 is H, CH3, Cl or F) and provides a cured material having ≤1.44 refractive index.
