Title:
LIGHT TRANSMISSIVE MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007298881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a light transmissive member which can give an observer impression of seeing a three-dimensionally formed pattern.

Since the light transmissive member 10 is a columnar body having a polygonal cross section and patterns are respectively formed on its flanks 12,13, the patterns formed on the flanks 12,13 can be seen as if they float inside when the light transmissive member 10 is seen from any direction. Further since the patterns formed on the flanks 12,13 can be seen as if a plurality of them respectively exist, the light transmissive member 10 can give the observer a characteristic impression. Similarly when a pattern is formed on an end face 14 of the light transmissive member 10, the pattern formed on the end face can be seen as if they float inside and a plurality of them exist when seen from the end face or the flank where no pattern is formed and thereby the light transmissive member 10 can give the observer the characteristic impression.
