Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain high wave length converting efficiency and easily obtain the second high harmonics also in a blue area by admitting a base wave of 900 to 4000nm in wave length into specific nonlinear optical materials, matching angle phase of type I and obtaining the second harmonics. CONSTITUTION:With the monocrystal of Non-linear material (3.5-dimethyl-1-(4- nitro phenyl)-1,2,4-triazole: hereinafter called DMNT) presented by the monocular formula I as a bulk crystal type light wave length converting element used, the second high harmonics are obtained by admitting a base light wave directly deflected of 900 to 4000nm in wave length in this bulk monocrystal and matching angle phase of the type I. By this constitution, a high nonlinear optical constant, which DMNT has, can be utilized in the bulk crystal type nonlinear optical material, and high wave length converting efficiency can be realized. In addition, the second high harmonics in a blue area can also effectively be taken out.
