Abstract:
To provide a high strength and light-weight TiAl-based alloy having heat resistance at low cost.SOLUTION: When an amount of nitrogen is set to N, an amount of oxygen allowing as inevitable impurities is set to O, an amount of aluminum is set to Al, an amount of niobium is set to Nb, an amount of chromium is set to Cr, an amount of tungsten is set to W, and an amount of boron is set to B, with % as at.% 1%≤N≤7%, 0%≤O≤3% and O≤N, 0.37≤(Al-N-0.5O)/(100-4N-1.5O)≤0.50, 6%≤Nb≤14%, 0%≤Cr≤6%, 0.3%≤W≤2%, 0%≤B≤0.3%, and a total of 1% or less of other elements mixed or added are allowed, the balance being Ti, and having a composition that satisfies 1.0≤(Ti-2N)/(Nb+Cr+W)≤3.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
