To obtain a light-weight mockette which shows improved weaving performance, quality and lightening effect and is useful for seats in motor vehicles by using a mixed spun yarn of polyester hollow staple fibers and hot- melt type fibers as a spun yarn constituting the ground weave for the mockette and allowing the piled parts to be bonded with the hot-melt type fibers.

The spun yarns constituting the ground weave for the mockette comprise at least polyester hollow staple fibers and hot-melt type fibers of a copolyester from an aromatic polyester and an aliphatic polyester having elastomeric properties and 3.5-4.2 filament twist coefficient. The piled parts in the mockette is adhered with the binder component of this hot-melt type fibers.
