Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus for instrument which enables an instrument to perform lighting and displaying improving luminance balance of the display part of a dial plate totally utilizing a double level array of a plurality of dial plates.
SOLUTION: A dimmer part 13 is provided at the end part of the rear dial plate 5 arranged in a double level extending integral therefrom to diffuse or reduce straight light directed to a display part 6 of the front dial plate 4 from a light source 8. The luminance balance of the display part 6 of the plurality of dial plates 4 and 5 is improved totally by the light emitted from the light source 8 thereby enabling lighting and displaying properly.
