Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a lighting arrester for thyristor valve capable of monitoring any leakage current and the thyristor valve for DC power transmission using the same.
CONSTITUTION: This thyristor valves 2A to 2D for DC power transmission respectively arranged in parallel with the unit lighting arresters 4A to 4D are further arranged with connecting conductors 5 to 7 on the positions corresponding to the terminals of respective thyristors 2A to 2D between respective unit thyristors 4A to 4D as well as insulators 10 to 13 between respective one ends of respective unit lighting arresters 4A to 4D and the connecting conductors 5 to 9 furthermore, electrically parallel connected leakage amperemeters 15 and call meters 14 between the same as that of the insulators 10 to 13.
